Wreckfest 2 Hits Steam Early Access This March

Bugbear Entertainment has announced that Wreckfest 2 will enter Steam Early Access on March 20, 2025. Initially, players can engage in racing, demolition derbies, and online multiplayer modes.

The Early Access phase will focus on gathering player feedback to refine the game, with plans to introduce a revamped career mode, special challenges, and new tournaments in future updates.

The game will feature fully customizable cars, allowing players to modify their vehicles extensively as new armor and component types become available. The Early Access build is expected to offer a variety of tracks, including high-speed circuits and chaotic junctions, with up to 24 players participating in online multiplayer events.

Mod support is also planned during the Early Access period. A new trailer showcases enhanced damage mechanics, such as tires detaching and dynamic driver animations, highlighting the game’s commitment to realistic destruction and aggressive racing.
